Nocton Dairies Ltd - Parish Council

Extraordinary Meeting of Nocton Parish Council

16th March 2010 (1900hrs) re: Nocton Dairies Ltd

A very constructive meeting was held by Nocton Parish Council for local residents. Councillors were left in no doubt as to the strength of feeling within the village about the Nocton Dairies planning application.

The Village Hall just about accommodated the many residents who took the trouble to turn out. Many people spoke about their fears and concerns, with views being expressed on many issues.

It is not for me to report whether objections outweighed support for the venture, suffice to say there was very good evidence put before the Council to be considered. It now remains for the Parish Council to register their final submission to North Kesteven District Council on behalf of residents.

You may be interested to know the BBC One 'Countryfile' programme have recorded a feature on the Nocton Dairies Ltd development. It is due to be broadcast Sunday 28th March 2010 (1800hrs).
