Scarecrow Competition & Produce Show
Nocton Social Club (in association with Nocton Church) will be holding a scarecrow competition and produce show on Sunday 26th September 2010.
You are invited to:
- Join a scarecrow parade
- Show off your homegrown fruit and veg
- Tempt tastebuds with delicious homebaked cakes and pastries
- Gladden the eye with beautiful flower arrangements.
There is a charge of 50p per entry for all produce submitted. First prize for each category wins £2.00.
Scarecrows can be of any design and must be displayed at Nocton Church from 10.00am, with a parade to the Social Club after Sunday Service. There will be a prize for the winning entry.
All produce entries must be delivered to Nocton Social Club between 9.00am - 11.00am on Sunday 26 September 2010.
Judging will take place between 11.00am - 12.30pm.
All are welcome to take part in this community event.
Entry forms are available at the Social Club and from the Post Office. All forms must be submitted by Sunday 12 Sept 2010 to Nocton Social Club or 35 Wellhead Lane.
