  1. just sold my house and am looking for property in lincolnshire, have given myself a 5 mile exclusion zone around nocton for obvious reasons, although nocton/metheringham/dunston are all lovely villages,we have lived close to a traditional dairy farm before and thats ok but the smell and flies from 8,000 cows isn't a very apealling prospect for a new home, we won't have battery eggs , won't drink battery milk, but realise some people will, is it beyond the wit of farmers to find a place in lincolnshire say 5 miles from villages to remove the smell/flies argument then if people demand battery milk at least it won't ruin the quality of life of people nearby, just the poor cows.
