Nocton Dairies Ltd - cow whisperer

Farmers appeal to residents as 'substantial changes' are made to super-dairy plans

Despite rumours in the Press that the revised plans are imminent, these are still outstanding and have yet to be submitted to North Kesteven District Council.

Now 'why the delay' I hear you cry?

The article says: 'In a letter to North Kesteven District Council, they said they wanted to clarify the plan's status.'

Yet there was a draft FactSheet prepared for local residents showing what was thought to be the most up to date information following the formation of the so-called Liaison Group - which still hasn't seen the light of day. Why has this not been finalised and circulated by now?

It is also understood that Nocton Dairies have been in continuous liaison with the Environment Agency, seemingly using them as a 'sounding board' in trying to overcome the many concerns expressed by this Agency over the original application. When does this 'customer support role' reach a critical point where the Agency finally says: 'Sorry chaps that's all we have to say on the matter now... go away and finalise your revised plans so we can formally comment on them as part of the planning process.'?

Perhaps Nocton Dairies are struggling to collate all the validated evidence requested by the Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report, that needs to be obtained for the fresh submission?

Whatever the true position, if Nocton Dairies really do want to end speculation on their plans, then there is a very simple solution.  For goodness sake submit your revised plans and stop dallying around, then everybody can see what these substantial changes are!
