NKDC Planning Reference Number - Nocton Dairies' new plans

I have just received a glossy pamphlet through my door from Nocton Dairies outlining their new plans. I also see they have revamped their website to incorporate much of the new data.

However, this all seems a little premature as the only data received by North Kesteven District Council Planning Department is the formal application form.

I see from the Nocton Dairies literature and website that they have erroneously assumed the new application number will be the same as the Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Review (10/0831/...)

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FACTUALLY INCORRECT.

I have confirmed this with NKDC this afternoon. The new reference number allocated to the fresh application is 10/1397/FUL.

Please note: If you do try to search for this new reference on the NKDC website currently, there is no data registered as yet. The supporting documentation is still to be submitted to NKDC by Nocton Dairies Ltd.

Of course, until all the supporting documentation is received and examined by NKDC (to check if it is complete) the validation process cannot be confirmed and publication on the NKDC website cannot take place.

The public consultation phase will only commence once NKDC are satisfied that all supporting documentation and evidence requested in the EIASCO Report has been submitted.

Finally, it appears NKDC are still in consultation with Nocton Dairies Ltd over whether these new plans constitute a new (rather than a revised) application and therefore subject to further planning fees.

  1. You mean they've given out incorrect information AGAIN ... staggering .... and still haven't actually submitted their plans? These are the people we're supposed to trust to experiment in Lincolnshire with the biggest risk-laden dairy in the UK ... you couldn't make it up!

  2. It would be funny if it wasn't so important.
Here we are, fighting hard to ensure this monstrosity doesn't come to our country, checking, checking & checking again that our information is correct and not misleading . . . . and there they are, blindly bandying around any old information that suits them at the time.
    Something, surely, is wrong here.
