Nocton Dairies - new plans
Copies of the new plans can now be located on their revised website: www.noctondairies.co.uk and are available for download... as of today's date.
You will also find a copy of the pamphlet delivered out to local residents - that too is available for download.
Please note the incorrect Planning Application number (10/0831/FUL) that was quoted on the back page of the original pamphlet, has now been amended to the correct number (10/1397/FUL), since I announced that the published one was incorrect.
It does make one wonder what other inaccuracies are included in their published documentation... and I have to ask the question:
Why is it that Nocton Dairies have real difficulty with their communication?
Unfortunately, this is becoming an all too common feature and is yet another example of their pitiful attempts at effective liaison with the local community.
You see it wasn't just the incorrect planning application number, many pamphlets were not even delivered to local residents. Some households received a copy, many didn't... the delivery was just so sporadic.
This latest fiasco shows Nocton Dairies still have major problems. If they cannot even get the simple task of posting out pamphlets to every household in the locality, it doesn't give much confidence in other aspects of their organisational skills now does it?
Update 24th November
Well, well... it looks like somebody has been in touch with Lincolnshire Echo!
Residents' chance to speak out about super-dairy plans is now clarified

I would suggest that the reason they "have difficulty with their communication" is because they don't care about the opinions of local residents and, therefore, communicating with them is very low on the list of priorities.
ReplyDeleteThey have no problem communicating when they are drip feeding information to the media, and seemingly taking over the whole of Radio 4 with the recent announcement that the application was being resubmitted (the only place I didn't hear them was Gardeners' Question Time) - problems only seem to arise with their half-hearted attempts to appease NKDC's request for public consultation.

Dear Geoff - I hope they've thanked you for helping them out in their confusion. It must be very difficult to remember a 6 digit/3 letter sequence ... Willes of course is known for having problems measuring the capacity of slurry lagoons - has he sorted out the one he's built in Devon which was twice the size it should have been? I do have the greatest sympathy ... perhaps some of their low paid jobs will be for people with numerical literacy - might come in useful for counting cows ....
