A selection of the many comments passed on to me

"I would like to send you and all the others involved in the campaign a big THANK YOU..."

"Hoorah for this decision - hoorah for the Environment Agency... "

"Great News..."

"... so so pleased - absolutely over the moon. Does this mean that at long last common sense has prevailed?"

"May I just take this opportunity to say a VERY BIG thankyou to you & your team for all the hours of hard work you have all put into fighting these plans. There are many many people who are so grateful for all you have done."

"... thanks to you and all who have tirelessly driven this campaign... "

"... a huge thankyou to you for keeping us informed. It has been so important. In our own small way we have done what we can but we really appreciate the time and effort you have given so far."

"I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for everything... "

"...  I have been in awe of the content of letters written on behalf of people like me, I could not have put into word either vocally or by hand some of the incredible dialogue I have seen or heard in the vast amount of correspondence since the campaign began. I admire you enormously. Thank-you so much."
