'artsNK would like to see as many communities, village groups and schools across the district getting involved in this celebration and devising projects that fit the agenda of the Olympic and Paralympics values.'
artsNK are planning to do some design and making sessions at Nocton Village Hall from the 17th March 2011.
The aim will be to produce some items that can be used as part of a launch event for the Sa Fire Festival at Lincoln Cathedral on the 28th May.
The design and making sessions are planned to take place on the following dates:
- 17th March; 24th March; 7th April; 8th April (9.00am and 12.00 midday) and
- Saturday 16th April (10.00am and 4.00pm) with more sessions if there is a need.
I will try and obtain the official promotion poster to provide more information in due course.
