There are two notable events this week:
Reverend Parkin
On Tuesday 10th May at 7.30pm, the Bishop of Grantham will be 'licensing' Rev Jonnie Parkin as our associate priest. This will be a big service with a big procession, so you may wish to come along to lend your support.
Jonnie's main job will be to work in the local communities with schools, young adults and families, so he will be a familiar face at schools and assemblies etc in the future.
Afterwards there is a informal reception at the village hall and you are all invited too.
Eastertide Service
On Friday 13th May at 7.30pm, the Diocese Music Coordinator (Rosemary Field) is coming along to lead a village Eastertide service. The purpose of this service is to introduce many people to the lost traditions of music in the Anglican liturgy, and try to reintroduce them to interested parties.
It will be an enjoyable service so even if you don't normally attend you may wish to go to hear something a bit different.
If you are attending please could you be seated by 7.20pm please.
