Answers to quiz

Where are these?

Exhibit 1 - Old sign - located on the wall of Bridle Path Cottage on Main Street.

Exhibit 2 - Ordnance Survey mark - located on a foundation stone of Bridle Path Cottage on Main Street.

Exhibit 3 - Date Stone - located on The Old Ten Row cottages on Main Street.

Exhibit 4 - Old road sign - located at the entrance to The Green from Main Street.

Exhibit 5 - Dog's Grave - located just through the gates of the Old Vicarage, The Green... next to All Saints Church.

Exhibit 6 - Roof pattern - located on Ten Row cottages, Wellhead Lane.

Exhibit 7 - Sculpture - located in front of 2, Potterhanworth Road, at the start of the public footpath through to the Persimmon Homes development.

Exhibit 8 - Roman Legionnaire plaque - located at the start of the public footpath at the end of The Avenue, leading through to The Green.

Exhibit 9 - Coat of Arms - located on the South wall elevation of Nocton Hall.

Exhibit 10 - Deep Well - located in the Nocton Hall 'pleasure grounds'... in the wood behind All Saints Church... about 20 metres from the wall near the Insall VC gravestone.

TAKE CARE - Exhibit 10 can sometimes be difficult to locate, especially if leaves are lying on the surface of the water and especially if the old bedframe has been removed from protecting this feature]
