Nocton Hall

US casualties from Operation Desert Storm were flown back to Lincolnshire for expert care

'Twenty-five years ago this month the focus of the world's media was on events that were taking place in the Middle East... As part of Operation Desert Storm the USAF activated Nocton Hall and 1,300 American medical staff were deployed to Lincolnshire.'

On 18th January, two men in high vis jackets and hard hats were observed surveying the woodland just inside the main gates of Nocton Hall. Equipped with a theodolite, measurements were clearly underway of the ground between Potterhanworth Rd and the Nocton Hall driveway.
