It makes me wonder what the hell is going on inside BT with the provision of fibre to Nocton. Is this just inept, or despite the best attempts at project planning, are there unforeseen problems arising? I doubt we will ever get the answer, but it really doesn't give much faith in the relationship of BT and BT Openreach and how they function together as partners.Geoff Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14276199104613997901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3377548475394156858.post-10728455116129767422016-11-11T16:12:05.811+00:002016-11-11T16:12:05.811+00:00Current information on the onlicolnshire end of we...Current information on the onlicolnshire end of week update:

Metheringham 3/2 (Nocton) - Planned engineering work scheduled for 21st November Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12393307492252599511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3377548475394156858.post-27050476553886589172016-11-11T16:08:27.384+00:002016-11-11T16:08:27.384+00:00I have just seen the latest Project Update from On...I have just seen the latest Project Update from OnLincolnshire for week ended 11th November 2016: 'Metheringham 3/2 (Nocton) - Planned engineering work scheduled for 21st November'. This is the direct link to the update: http://www.onlincolnshire.org/news/project-updates/project-update-week-ending-11th-november-2016. Hopefully, Steve Brookes will be able to give more detail about the extended delay.Geoff Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14276199104613997901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3377548475394156858.post-63938226186372568622016-11-07T20:07:59.847+00:002016-11-07T20:07:59.847+00:00Thanks Steve. It even provides a helpful link so that I can choose from a range of ISPs. Except I can't as "...fibre broadband is not available because of where you live"!

I have seen the slow down too. Down to 0.08Mbps at the weekend.

Thanks Geoff, for keeping the pressure on; without it we wouldn't have got even to where we are.Steve Burrnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3377548475394156858.post-90435332507932332662016-11-07T13:46:12.289+00:002016-11-07T13:46:12.289+00:00Hi Jason,I too have noticed a reduced speed. I don't have the time or will to phone up either BT or Sky, but am hoping beyond hope that this is just a temporary measure and will improve once the new box is finally up and running.
