Barbeque
There is an Open Day and BBQ being held on Nocton Park Allotments this Saturday (20th August) at 3.00pm. All the village and friends are welcome. Bring your own food and drink. There will be a number of BBQ's to cook on and there will also be some produce and cakes for sale.

Dumping of waste
On my wanders around the village, I have noticed that illegal dumping has started to occur again near Nocton Hall. A week or so ago over 20 computer monitors have been discarded in the woods in the centre 'laurel walk'. Furthermore, a few days ago a large quantity of car tyres have been dumped near the Nocton Hospital gates.
If we are going to be entering the Best Kept Village competition in 2012, we really need to keep on top of this. If you notice any suspicious vehicles in these locations, please make a note of the vehicle registration, type of vehicle and colour and report it to the local PCSO.
Items stolen
I understand a number of scaffolding poles, metal pegs and a wheelbarrow have recently been stolen from All Saints Church. Again, if you notice any suspicious activity in the area when the builders are off site, please make a note and report it to the local PCSO asap.
