Nocton Dairies Ltd - potential benefits

Super-dairy bosses to show villagers how proposal could benefit their community

Strange that the Lincolnshire Echo has chosen a photograph of cows in a lush green field to attach to this article. Any research into these type of intensive dairy units will show lactating cows inside the 'cow accommodation' 24/7, where they have access to a concrete hard surface for moving between the milking parlours or open forage area, and a deep-filled sand 'bed' adjacent to the feed supply.

Somewhat different eh?

Unfortunately, Nocton Dairies Ltd still doesn't appear to have learned lessons from their first foray into public consultation. The chosen location for this presentation is located down a narrow fen road, not particularly convenient for the community at large. The instructions for the location are quite confusing as well. As mentioned earlier on these blog pages, the invite has not even been extended to the whole community potentially affected by this development. If this amateurish approach to a communication strategy/process is anything to go by, it doesn't bode well for the consultation meeting itself does it?

A message to Nocton Dairies Ltd... if you are really serious about influencing your target audience, you must do better than this!
