Lincolnshire van driver asks to be locked up after causing fatal accident

FW Awards 2011: Dairy farmer of the year finalist - Peter Willes

"Peter's well-publicised application for Nocton Dairies placed him in the spotlight... he also strongly recognises the importance of informing the public about dairy farming."

Peter was one of three dairy farmers selected for the Dairy Farmer of the Year award. He was pipped to the post by winner, Gavin Fowler of Higher Boode Farm, Braunton, Devon... who "has perfected the art of breeding health and fertility into his herd"... a "three-way cross to Montbelliarde, Scandanavian Red and Friesian". The other candidate was Fergus McDowell of Galloway.
