Clean up after your dog

The following notice has recently been delivered to residents of Nocton:

I am the parish dog warden and I am patrolling the village day and night, seven days a week and will issue fixed penalty notices to the value of £50.00 to people who do not clean up after their dogs and place the bags in the appropriate dog waste bins or take them home and place the bags in the black wheeled bin.

Maximum penalty £1000.00. If you witness anyone allowing their dog to foul and not cleaning it up please contact:- Parish Council Dog Warden - Tel: 07903 898451 or North Kesteven District Council - Tel: 01529 414155.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP."

  1. It would be of interest to learn exactly how many hours per week/month the dog warden is contracted to provide in Nocton village as I suspect it is not a full 24/7 service!

  2. Thanks for your comment Lincoln Edge. You are quite correct the Dog Warden isn't employed 24/7. You may wish to ask the Clerk to the Parish Council for a response on this, if you have a particular interest: http://parishes.lincolnshire.gov.uk/Nocton/section.asp?docId=100777
