Resignation

Another vacancy has arisen on Nocton Parish Council, with the resignation of Councillor David Rumbelow, who attended his last meeting last night.

David has served this village for a great many years and his experience will be a loss to the Council. I'm sure the community will want to wish David 'all the best' for the future.

David - your work for the public good has been much appreciated - thank you

The Doodle

The following email was received from Chris Hewitt on 3rd September:

'Hi Everyone

I hope you all had a good summer. Its that time again to ask for your input to the September Doodle. Quite a bit has happened and I would love to hear from anyone with anything of interest.

Please note this months cut off is 10th September and I will have to make it hard and fast as the Doodle has also to meet a new proof reading deadline too.

Kindest regards

Chris'

I hope you find the attached of interest.

It includes a last chance to comment on the “Core Strategy”, which is a plan for 82,000 more people in our area. Can we find the money to support the infrastructure? The deadline to say what you think of the idea is September 10th.

Best Wishes and Kind Regards,
