Wind Turbines
"My right hon. Friend will know that there appears to be a growing desire on the part of developers to carpet rural Lincolnshire with wind turbines, most recently at Temple Hill in my constituency. What advice can he give those of my constituents who for very good reasons properly oppose the siting of these turbines in their local communities?" Stephen Phillips

Interesting to hear the comments of our local MP on wind farms. Its all very well the government saying developers must listen to the views of local communities, at the end of the day they are going to put in an application if they feel they have a good chance of it being approved at a public inquiry. It all depends on the strength of cases, and the validity of arguments, put forward by those for and those against a particular wind farm application.
ReplyDeleteI suspect Nocton wind farm will prove a contentious case.
