Liz Truss: Solar farms in rural areas 'make the heart sink'

'From New Year’s Day farmers will be barred from claiming taxpayer-funded subsidies in an attempt to preserve Britain’s “beautiful” landscape and reduce the number of black panels in the countryside.

Britain's food self-sufficiency at risk from reliance on overseas imports of fruit and vegetables that could be produced at home
