Armed Forces Covenant

Stephen Phillips QC MP

I have obtained the following content from our local MP's Facebook page (when you click on the link to the document, if you are prompted to sign up for DropBox, click the 'X' to close the window and you will still be able to read the Review):

Former Members of the Armed Forces and the Criminal Justice System
A Review on behalf of the Secretary of State for Justice

'I have been a strong supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant and spent much of last year writing a report for the Secretary of State for Justice on how to support the small number of former service personnel who find themselves in trouble with the law.

The Government finally published my report over Christmas and has promised to implement most of my recommendations. A copy of my report is here.'
