Be vigilant, be secure
Message from the Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator
You should all be aware of the recent burglaries which have occurred in Nocton. This is an unprecedented increase in what was previously a crime free village.
You as members of the Nocton Neighbourhood Watch will know, I hope, of the need for vigilance and security of your home and property, however, does your neighbour belong to the scheme? You might drop them the question and suggest they sign up or get in touch with me.
With Christmas fast approaching, we will all be out buying our presents ready for the big day. Please don't make it an early present for this despicable individual who is breaking in to our homes.
Remember, if you see anything suspicious, ring 999. The police will respond in a different way, particularly if you believe it's a crime being committed. If there are suspects, please get a description of the individual, clothing etc and any vehicle. This will greatly assist in catching this vile person.
Regards to all,
Graham Jones
