Road Traffic Accident

Nocton B1188

Emergency services attended a serious vehicle accident on Lincoln Road, Nocton last night. The Facebook page of the Lincolnite reported at 6.43pm:

"Traffic: Road currently closed at Nocton on the B1188 due to a crash. Emergency services on scene."

According to the public comments online, a diversion was put in place - B1178 to A15 and the B1202 Metheringham Heath back to B1188.

The road was still closed at 9.26pm with general tidying and accident investigations taking place.

Comments appear to suggest that a vehicle crashed into the rear of a low loader lorry that had its ramp down and then overturned.

At the time of posting this report, no more news is available.
