Boston WW1 fighter ace - tanks looked like ragged line of grey diamond-shaped monsters from 20ft up

A Lincolnshire casualty of Cambrai was Leslie Halkes Wray, born in Metheringham on February 27, 1898, but spent most of his childhood in Nocton, who was killed in action on November 20, 1917.
