Nocton Primary School - trees felled

No tree preservation order applied

I refer to the planning application to fell the Norwegian Spruce situated at the front of the Primary School - 17/1323/TCO.

These trees have been damaging the footpath alongside the fence of the school, to the extent it is classed as a trip hazard.

You can see the work being undertaken to fell the offending items on Wed 20th Dec 2017.

It is surprising the amount of light that is now entering the area and whilst I don't like our village trees being felled, in some cases work has to be carried out for very good reason.

The next job will require the roots to be dug out and the path made good.
