Commemorative Seat

Village is set to raise a jubilee benchmark

'The creation of a jubilee bench for Nocton village was given a helping hand on Friday...'

Cliff has kindly forwarded this press cutting to me... and I thought you might like to see what it has to say.

There are a couple of slight inaccuracies with the report though. I have been advised that the figure quoted of £800 should actually read £500, and whilst the original site proposal was discussed, it was not actually said the bench would finish up on The Green. The location is still to be determined.

It is good to see the progress being made with the design sculpture. Congratulations to Cliff and Nick on the award of a Big Society certificate. Well deserved chaps.
