It has been reported that the Village Hall Xmas tree lights have only been partially lit at night.
Following an examination of the wiring yesterday, it was discovered that the triple core wire has been fully severed. It is a clean cut that will probably have involved the use of wire cutters or sharp scissors. The more disturbing issue, is that in another section, trouble has been taken to prise the three core wire apart and remove a 3-inch length of a single core, so on cursory examination it appears as if the circuit is still intact, but isn't. This can only be deemed a malicious act.
If anybody has any information that may indicate who might have done this, can the details please be passed on to any member of the Parish Council or Village Hall Management Committee.
