Feedback Report Two now available
Thank you again to all who attended our community engagement events in June to find out more about the continuing work on exploring the wind energy potential at Nocton Fen.
Following the events we have been collating and analysing all the feedback forms we received and have produced a report which is now available to download here. We received a lot of very helpful and specific feedback on the information provided which we are working hard to address and incorporate wherever possible in a revised scheme.
Engagement Feedback Report Two gives an overview of the events and an analysis of the comments we received. It also sets how we intend to use the feedback and the next steps in the project process.
Next steps
Vattenfall will be looking to set up a separate programme of work to discuss the community investment opportunity and how it should be developed and progressed. A number of people have already registered their interest and the work will commence in the Autumn. If you would like to take part, please contact us and let us by emailing noctonfen@vattenfall.com or calling 0800 377 7348.
Formal consultation
We will be in touch over the coming months regarding the plans for the formal consultation in early 2015.

Without going into details it does seem as if Vattenfall have put a fairly positive view on the findings of the June consultation meetings. Whether it is actually as positive as they appear to be making out is another matter. What does stand out though, judging by attendance numbers at the various villages, is the apparent apathy and lack of interest or concern by the overwhelming majority of people.
ReplyDeleteI suspect more people will show an interest when they hear about the community benefits a potential wind farm could bring to their own village.
